The client
Kudos Support Foundation is a Fraser Valley nonprofit that gets nutritious food to families, second-stage housing, people experiencing homelessness, treatment and recovery centres, and farms. Its motto: a hand up, not just a handout.
The brief
A charity needs to do three things online: tell its story with dignity, make giving and volunteering easy, and let people ask for help. All of that had to run cheaply on shared hosting and be manageable by non-technical volunteers.
What I built
- Fast static website with a PHP + MySQL admin panel
- Give, volunteer and request-support forms (saved and emailed)
- Seasonal campaigns (like Christmas) switched on from the admin
- Automatic sitemap and robots for SEO
- Runs on low-cost cPanel hosting
